Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Research & Formulation Development Executive to develop, optimize, and support scale-up of formulations for wellness and FMCG products. The role involves hands

on laboratory trials, physical and stability evaluations, safety assessments, and coordination with production for commercial manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize formulations for oral care, skin care, hair care, and wellness products

- Conduct bench-scale and pilot-scale trials for new and existing formulations

- Evaluate physical parameters such as viscosity, pH, texture, spread ability, and appearance

- Ensure formulation safety, stability, and compliance with applicable regulatory standards

- Conduct stability studies and analyse formulation performance over time

- Support scale-up activities and technology transfer to production teams

- Assist in resolving formulation or process-related manufacturing issues

- Maintain accurate documentation for formulations, trials, SOPs, and technical reports

SkillS

- Strong knowledge of formulation ingredients including surfactants, polymers, abrasives, humectants, preservatives, flavours, and active ingredients

- Hands-on experience with laboratory and pilot-scale equipment such as mixers and homogenizers

- Understanding of formulation science, stability testing, and scale-up principles

- Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Candidate Profile

- B.Pharma / M.Pharma / M.Sc. (Chemistry or related discipline)

- 2–3 years of experience in research and formulation development (Wellness/FMCG preferred)

- Exposure to oral care or personal care formulations is an added advantage

- Willingness to learn, innovate, and support cross-functional teams
